2019 Shawano In Focus Photo Contest

Do you think the City of Shawano is an amazing place to live or visit? If so, it’s time to show everyone what it is all about! The City of Shawano is sponsoring a photo contest and is inviting you to help capture its beauty and FOCUS on all the positive things our city has to offer.

If you love to take photographs this is your time to shine. Let loose your creative side and capture the fun and beauty that comes with being a part of our community.  The mission of this contest is to celebrate the City of Shawano.  Therefore, all photos entered must be taken within our city limits.

Whether its life, landscape, or landmarks, get your cameras out and show what you love most.

The photo contest is open to residents and non-residents from July 15th through October 31st, 2019.  Photographers of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate!

A panel of judges selected by the city will identify the top photos in each category, which will be posted on the City’s web page (www.cityofshawano.com) by November 15th. Online voting will be from November 15th - December 15th. A “People’s Choice” winner will be determined in each category with one overall grand prize winner determined by the judge’s panel.  Each category will also have a youth division winner.
