The City of Shawano values education. We are home to an excellent public and private school system. Northeast Wisconsin Technical College also has a Regional Learning Center located in Shawano and the College of Menominee Nation is located just north of Shawano and provides academic degrees in select baccalaureate and associate degree programs; diplomas in technical and trades areas; and a variety of continuing education options. The Community Education programs provide opportunities to develop a new skill, become an artist, learn new crafts, cultivate your gardens, enhance your health, learn about local history, develop musical talents, learn dance/yoga/run/swim, and discover other hidden talents and abilities!
