Mountain Bay Trail Passes

Out of 83 miles of former railroad corridor from Green Bay to Wausau, 53 miles are in Shawano County. The trail in the county runs from the Village of Pulaski to the Village of Eland.

The Shawano County sections are designated to hiking, bicycling, horse back riding and horse drawn vehicles in the summer and snowmobiling, dog sledding and ATV's in the winter.

If you are using the Mountain Bay Trail in the City of Shawano limits no pass is required, however a pass must be purchased by people 16 and older who are riding bikes, horses or horse-drawn buggies outside the City limits.
