The City of Shawano requires residents of the city to register their bicycles. Should your bike be stolen and recovered, this registration makes it possible for the Police Department to return your bicycle to you.
Bike registration can be done at the Police Department lobby window. You will need the make, model, color and serial number of the bike, along with the name address and phone number of the bicycle owner. Upon completion of the registration form you will be issued a license sticker to be placed on the bike. The cost of the registration is free and is good for as long as you own the bike.
