DESCRIPTION:

The Animal Recreation Facility (Dog Park) is a 2 acre pet exercise area.  Residents and visitors are able to utilize the newly created dog park that is located at the corner of Industrial Drive and Jaycee Court. The ARF offers our community a dedicated and safe environment for dogs to exercise and for people to socialize with other pet owners and enjoy time outdoors.  The City of Shawano would like to thank the Nora Jende Charitable fund for their $15,000 donation, the Triple MT group for their $2,000 donation and all other various individuals that providing additional funding for this project.  These donations combined with city funds are what made this highly anticipated development a reality.  Please be sure that you follow all the rules that are posted at the park’s location including ensuring that your dog is legally licensed and vaccinated.  Also, please pick up after your pet.  There will be waste receptacles available around the park to help aid in this process. 

PARKING: On street parking is available along Jaycee Ct.
