Swimming Pool Permit Required.
A permit is required for all above ground or below ground swimming pools, either temporary or permanent, in which water of more than 24 inches in depth is contained and which is used primarily for the purpose of swimming or water recreation. The building permit fee is $40.

Pools shall be set back at least five (5) feet from the side or rear lot lines and from any other structures. Pools which are erected shall conform to the National Electrical Code, Article 680, Swimming Pools, Fountains.

Fencing Required for Swimming Pools.
All above or below ground swimming pools shall be completely enclosed by a fence of not less than five feet nor more than six feet in height. Gates shall be provided with locking devices. Fencing MUST be erected within five (5) days of completion of pool. A fence permit fee is $40.
